On Tuesday January 27, 1998 at 11 a.m., a 23 year old female clerk working at an Adults Only Video in Sudbury was stabbed to death. The victim was Renée Sweeney, a fourth-year Laurentian University student. Cash and other items were missing from the store. A short distance from teh scene, the suspect abondoned a lightweight jacke and white cotton gloves which was located bhy a police dog.

Daphne Kochar Homicide
Davinder (Daphne) Kochar was 42 years of age when she was reported missing by family members on November 6 2005. She was last seen on the evening prior to her disappearance, at her residence. Daphne's 2005 navy blue Honda Odyssey van was also missing.

On December 30, 1984 the remains of a young woman were found in a ditch on a sparsely travelled gravel township road, south of the Hamlet of Newburgh, near Napanee, Ontario.
The young woman has never been identified and her murderer(s) have never been caught..
