The Greater Sudbury Police Service has a variety of postions available to provide students with the opportunity to learn about policing, our community and to develop new skills. Positions are available in the areas of finance and administration, technology development, special project work and clerical support. All applications will be screened using the services requirements for summer student positions and students will be selected for a position that best matches their knowledge and skill set.

As part of its Student Program, the Greater Sudbury Police Service offers summer job opportunities to university, college, and high school students. The purpose of these placements is to provide students with an opportunity to learn about the Greater Sudbury Police Service and its role in the community, as well as to gain experience and develop new skills.
To be considered for student employment, you must be:
16 years of age or older by the date of employment
Currently enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution
Returning for studies in the fall
If you qualify for the Student Program, please submit your application online!
You'll be contacted only if you're short-listed as a qualified candidate. You'll then be offered an opportunity to move onto the next phase of the selection process.
Successful candidates are required to pass a criminal record and background check.
Student positions may start at various times between May and July and are generally for an 8 to 12 week duration.
