On Tuesday January 27, 1998 at 11 a.m., a 23 year old female clerk working at an Adults Only Video in Sudbury was stabbed to death.  The victim was Renée Sweeney, a fourth-year Laurentian University student. Cash and other items were missing from the store.  A short distance from the scene, the suspect abandoned a lightweight jacket and white cotton gloves which was located by a police dog.

Citizens with new information regarding the incident or the suspect are urged to contact the Greater Sudbury Police Tip Line at 705-675-9171 extension 2320.

Davinder (Daphne) Kochar was 42 years of age when she was reported missing by family members on November 6 2005.  She was last seen on the evening prior to her disappearance, at her residence.  Daphne's 2005 navy blue Honda Odyssey van was also missing.   

Daphne was a female of East Indian descent, who was devoted to her family...

On December 30, 1984 the remains of a young woman were found in a ditch on a sparsely travelled gravel township road, south of the Hamlet of Newburgh, near Napanee, Ontario. 

The young woman has never been identified and her murderer(s) have never been caught..
