records.jpgCentral Records is responsible for the maintenance of data of the Greater Sudbury Police Service records management system, records contributed to the Canadian Police Information Centre, information gathering, processing, and dissemination. The Branch is also responsible for the administration of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

Assistance with information for insurance purposes, criminal record searches, reception, and switchboard duties for the police service are handled by staff in Central Records.

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
(closed all statutory holidays)

The forms provided online are for your convenience. Forms that are more than 1 page in length must be printed as a two-sided document (i.e. page 1 & 2 on one sheet). Completed forms must be delivered personally and payment is obligatory at the time of the request. Two pieces of identification with full name, date of birth, address, and signature (i.e. driver's licence, birth certificate, passport) is required at the time of the request.

Forms received via fax or email will not be accepted and/or processed.
