Around 1:00 p.m. on February 24, 2021, our 911 Emergency Communications Centre received a call regarding a serious Industrial Incident on Powerhouse Road involving a heavy piece of equipment and a single occupant. City of Greater Sudbury Paramedic and Fire Services were dispatched to the area.
Upon arrival Paramedics and Firefighters located the 29 year old man who had sustained fatal injuries and was unfortunately pronounced deceased on scene. His name will not be released out of respect for his...

UPDATE
On February 19, 2021, we received information that wanted party, 24 year old Jayson Wright staying at another establishment in the South End of Greater Sudbury.
Based on the ongoing investigation, Detectives applied for and were granted a Warrant to Enter, as well as, a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant and a Criminal Code of Canada Search Warrant due to believed presence of illicit drugs and unlawful possession of firearms.
