From April 24-27th, 2024, GSPS Cst. Andrew Hinds and S/Sgt. Guy Renaud represented Team Canada at the Palmetto Police Motorcycle Skills Challenge in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
In total, there were 87 police riders from across the southern states, who practice and ride all year long.

In 2004, the Greater Sudbury Police Service received a report of sexual assault involving a youth, however, at the time the survivor did not want to pursue criminal charges.
