You can run but you can’t hide

Around 7:50 p.m. on February 7, 2023, officers were dispatched to a business on National Street in relation to a Break and Enter that had just taken place.

Information provided was that two individuals were located inside the business’s fenced compound attempting to steal a vehicle. They fled on foot prior to police arrival.

Officers conducted a K9 track in the area and while on the track a community member told them there was a man hiding between vehicles on Maley Drive.

On the evening of Friday, February 3rd, 2023, Police responded to a call for service regarding a Robbery that had occurred at a residence in Lively. Information provided was that the victim had listed a cell phone for sale on an online classifieds forum. Two individuals attended the victim’s residence in response to the ad, claiming to be interested in purchasing the cell phone. 16-year-old youth arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault

Around 1:55 p.m. on February 1, 2023, officers were dispatched the area of Elm Street in relation to a Weapons complaint.

Information provided was that two youths were involved in an altercation and one of the youths had stabbed the other. The 16-year-old youth who sustained the stab wound was transported to hospital by City of Greater Sudbury Paramedic Services with non-life-threatening injuries while the other 16-year-old youth fled on foot prior to police arrival.
