24 year old Man Arrested and Charged for Robbery and Firearm Offences

Around 10:15 p.m. on October 16, 2022, Officers attended the area of Mountain Street in relation to a man wanted for a Robbery that occurred on October 7, 2022. Officers conducted a vehicle stop in order to arrest the man. Once the vehicle was stopped the man attempted to flee from the Officers, however, he was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.

Upon searching the man, Officers located a quantity of illicit substances believed to be Methamphetamine and Fentanyl.

Early Morning Fire on Richard Lake Road Results in Arrest of 36-Year Old Man

Just before 4:00 a.m. on October 13th, 2022, City of Greater Sudbury Fire Services responded to a structure fire at a campground office building on 2550 Richard Lake Road in Greater Sudbury. Upon extinguishing the fire, Firefighters determined it to be suspicious and contacted Police at approximately 5:45 a.m. Officers from our Patrol Operations and Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division and Forensics Unit attended the scene.
