Today we were pleased to host our 13th annual Kids, Cops and Fishing event on Whitewater Lake in Azilda.

Since 2009, the Greater Sudbury Police Service Rural Community Response Unit has been hosting this event to build positive relationships with youth in our community through outdoor activity. group of officers and kids outside

Each youth was provided a free fishing rod and tackle box that they get to keep.

We thank our Officers, both on duty and off-duty, volunteers, as well as members from the Ontario Provincial Police SAVE Team and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry who took the time to participate today.
