In September 2022, we received two separate complaints from two Survivors of Sexual Assault involving the same man who was in a position of power and authority when the attacks took place. The incidents occurred between January and September of 2022. Due to the sensitive nature of the incidents and to protect the Survivors’ identities, no further details will be provided.
On December 19, 2022, a Detective from the Major Crimes Section of our Criminal Investigation Division arrested and charged 61-year-old, Anthony Corallo of Greater Sudbury with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada;
• Sexual Assault x3
• Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm or Death
He was released on an Undertaking with a Court date of March 1, 2023 to answer to the charges.
Based on the investigation, there are concerns that there may be other Survivors. If you have any information related to these incidents or this individual, you are asked to contact Detective Constable Hutton at 705-675-9171 extension 2310.
