Just before 3:45 a.m. this morning, Friday, November 27, 2020, we received a call regarding a serious motor vehicle collision on MR55 approximately half way between Balsam Street and Big Nickel Road in Copper Cliff.

The serious collision involved a pedestrian and a pick-up truck. The 38 year old man (pedestrian) involved in the collision was pronounced deceased on scene. The man’s name will not be released out of respect for his family’s wishes.

Our deepest condolences go out to those impacted by this collision.

Our Traffic Management Unit is conducting an investigation into the collision and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information related to the collision is asked to contact us at 705-675-9171.
