Just after 2:30 a.m. this morning, Wednesday, May 6, 2020, we received a call regarding a single motor vehicle collision on MR35 near Gagnon Street. The 2005 Silver Infinity G35 was travelling North on MR 35 towards Azilda when the vehicle left the roadway ending up in the ditch.

There were two individuals in the vehicle at the time of the collision, a 19 year old man and a 21 year old woman.

Both individuals were transported to hospital by Paramedic Services with serious injuries.

The driver succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. His name will not be released out of respect for his family’s wishes.

The 21 year old woman remains in hospital with serious injuries.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of the two individuals.
