Shortly after 5:45 p.m. on April 2, 2025, officers were dispatched to a serious collision involving two vehicles on Radar Road near Dupuis Drive.

During the preliminary stages of the investigation, it is believed that a SUV and a sedan were travelling in opposing directions resulting in a head on collision.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the SUV, a 32-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries on scene. The driver of the sedan, a 33-year-old, man was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Our deepest condolences go out to deceased’s family and our thoughts are with everyone impacted by this collision. The deceased’s name will not be released out of respect for their family’s wishes.

The Traffic Management Unit is investigating the collision and the investigation is ongoing.
