Officers investigating shots fired at residence on Catherine Drive in Garson

Around 10:40 p.m. on March 26, 2025, the Greater Sudbury Police Service received multiple 9-1-1 calls regarding shots fired at a house on Catherine Drive in Garson.

Through the investigation, it is believed that a dark-coloured, four-door sedan (image attached) attended the residence, an individual exited the backseat of the car and fired numerous shots at the house before getting back into the vehicle. The vehicle, with an undetermined number of occupants, then fled the area prior to police arrival.

At this time, the make and model of the vehicle have not been confirmed and there are no physical descriptors of the shooter.

There were multiple people inside the residence at the time of the incident, however, no one sustained any injuries. The front door and window of the residence were shattered by the bullets.

This is believed to be a targeted incident.

Anyone with video surveillance equipment in the area is asked to review footage and contact police with any relevant information.
