The Provincial Stay-at-Home Order came into effect this morning, January 14, 2021 at 12:01 a.m.  The Province issued the second State of Emergency due to the immense strain on the Health Care system and Health Care providers. The Stay-at-Home Order aims to protect our most vulnerable populations, health care workers and the overall health and well-being of our communities by flattening the curve and reducing the spread of COVID-19.

Please do not call 911 or our non-emergency number for information related to the Order.

Working in collaboration with the City of Greater Sudbury and Public Health Sudbury & Districts, we will continue to engage with, encourage and educate community members and business owners in order to ensure compliance. Those who choose to blatantly disregard the orders including individuals, businesses or corporations will be fined under Ontario Regulation 11/21.

If you are looking to report an incident where individuals or a business is in breach of the Order, please call 311 and the call will be directed to the appropriate responding agency.
