We are requesting the public’s assistance to identify the driver believed to be involved in a fail to stop and multiple thefts of gas.
Just after 2:50 p.m. on July 14, 2024, an officer was on Larch Street downtown when he observed a vehicle being driven with unattached plates. Once on David Street, the officer initiated the emergency lights on the marked police cruiser to conduct a traffic stop, however, the driver of the vehicle did not stop and sped away at a high speed.
