Just before 5:40 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022, a community member attended a food establishment on Regent Street in Greater Sudbury. While inside picking up her order, she saw an unknown woman getting into her vehicle, a 2008 four-door, dark grey Honda Accord with Ontario licence plate CEVE 349, that was running in the parking lot.

The community member immediately ran outside in an attempt to stop the woman from driving away in the vehicle. The community member grabbed the driver’s side mirror as the woman quickly reversed the vehicle causing the mirror to fall off.
