Just before 1:10 p.m. on May 23, 2022, a man with his face covered entered a convenience store on Notre Dame Avenue. The man then selected various items and attempted to exit the store without paying for the items. An employee stopped the man and asked him to pay for the items resulting in the man pepper spraying all of the employees in the store. The man then fled the area on foot.
The employees sustained minor injuries as a result of the altercation.
