**UPDATE 4**

Police have arrested two males for attempt murder in relation to this incident.

Police are looking to locate more involved persons. With the recovery of the firearm believed to be the involved weapon; the seizure of the involved vehicle; and, arrest of two suspects, police do not have a concern for public safety relating to this incident.

In order to protect the integrity of this complex investigation, police are releasing little information at this time. Police update the public as the investigation unfolds.

Anyone with information in this matter are asked to call police.

**UPDATE 3**

A firearm believed to be associated to this incident has been recovered by Police. It was found discarded in the area where the unoccupied Kia Spectra was located.

**UPDATE 2**

The Greater Sudbury Police Service has received information to suggest that there is more than one suspect involved in this incident. The investigation is being led by the Criminal Investigations Division. Officers continue to canvas and speak with witnesses in attempts to confirm the suspects’ descriptions.

**UPDATE 1**

The victim in this situation is an adult male. He sustained serious injuries, but is in stable condition.

The vehicle believed to be involved is a four-door, silver Kia Spectra. The vehicle was recovered by Police on the Kingsway, East of Falconbridge Road. The suspect is still at large and the investigation is ongoing.

Greater Sudbury Police Service is currently at the scene of a shooting on Mountain View Street in Wahnapitae. One person is reported injured. Mountain View Street is currently closed by Police to pedestrian and vehicle traffic until further notice. The armed suspect remains at large.
