Upon submitting an application, applicants will be sent a confirmation of receipt within five (5) business days. Applications will remain active on file for one year. Upon commencing a competition for Experienced Officer only applicants selected to move forward will be contacted.

Selection Process
Stage One
- Complete an application package containing: Experienced Constable Application, Resume & Cover Letter
Stage Two
- Applicant Screening
- Military Police Experienced Officer candidates will be assessed based on eligibility to obtain equivalency
Stage Three
- Selected candidates may be contacted to complete a written Local Focus Interview, Experienced Officer Written Assessment and Pre-Background Questionnaire
Stage Four
- Successful candidates invited for a Competency Interview
Stage Five
- Psychological Testing and Assessment
- Physical Fitness Testing (Greater Sudbury Police Service-Fitness Assessment)
- Background Investigation
- Offer of Employment
- Medical Assessment
Stage Six
- Greater Sudbury Police Service Experienced Officer Training Program
